Education

The Bedfordia Group interacts with local educational establishments and when appropriate provides educational support in a variety of ways. This can include school or student sponsorship, environmental and commercial projects and topics, work experience and field trip opportunities. Examples of such interactions include:

• Arranging for students from local schools to visit BIOGEN’s recycling plant.
• Long term development plans with Sharnbrook Upper School to work with students as part of their Geography, Biology and Environmental Science studies.
• Planning to work with a local school’s Art Department to produce pieces of art for the Group’s Head Office at Milton Parc.
• Working closely with the Education Business Partnership and Connexions to provide work experience and career opportunities for young people in the local area.
