As a family firm established in the 1930’s, Bedfordia is founded upon the principle of responsibility. This principle guides the actions and activities of the organization and is reflected in all our dealings with our employees, our shareholders, our business partners and the communities in which we operate.
Our aspirations are for Bedfordia to continue to make a positive contribution to society through its businesses and by the way it does business – in a sustainable, environmentally sound and responsible manner.
These business practices are part of our company culture which we believe can only be achieved if integrated into every area and level of the business. Bedfordia’s view of social responsibility is closely linked to the company’s four core Values which were fully developed and publicly launched in 2005. These four Values are of equal importance and apply to all in the business regardless of an individual’s role or responsibilities.
