Property ownership, investment and development has been central to the Bedfordia Group since the company’s foundation in the 1930s. Today, Bedfordia Properties owns and manages a diverse property portfolio including business parks, offices, warehouses and residential properties as well as agricultural land.

The success of Bedfordia’s property business has always been based on a combination of not only entrepreneurship and shrewd investment, but also on improving site value, through its development division Bedfordia Developments Ltd, and by sympathetic development and responsible land management.

Bedfordia Developments has investments in both brown and greenfield sites, obtaining detailed planning permissions for developments that are in tune with community and environmental needs. The company is consistently seeking opportunities for acquisition of property or sites offering redevelopment opportunities.

The Property division is also jointly responsible, with the other operating divisions of the Bedfordia Group, for the management of properties rented or owned by them, providing a full range of management services.

Bedfordia are currently seeking to grow their portfolio of property in the appropriate sectors to maximise their long term growth of assets and income, and to further integrate all the Group's property assets whether directly owned, managed or within the operating subsidiaries.
